Alexander Laible is one of Germany's leading vintners. He produces superb white, sparkling and red wines. Especially noteworthy are his world class Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. His wines are well balanced and extremely complex, while being very elegant. He makes full use of the enormous potential of the Baden Terrois with its numerous kinds of soil and plenty of sunlight.

 

Profiting from 13 generations of wine makers in the family, Alexander Laible produces very flavourful wines of distinctive taste and full of character. His wines stand for youthful carelessness, enthusiasm, tradition and drinking pleasure at the same time.

Alexander Laible’s wines have plenty of time to mature. A sensitive and decelerated vintification ensures the complex range of aromas. He does not use the traditional German classification for his wines, but stars. While his  ** - wines are already exceptional, his *** - wines are the top of premium wines. The grapes for these wines come from the best terroirs, are carefully hand selected and the yields are reduced to less than 50 hectoliters. This ensures wines of intense minerality, very expressive flavours and an enormous length.
